Project Manager (Technical Process)

Job Introduction

Our Skanska Costain STRABAG joint venture team is working in partnership with HS2 to deliver the new London tunnels from Euston to West Ruislip. Our joint venture team is working on sites at Euston, Old Oak Common and West Ruislip, building tunnels 13 miles long and up to 50m deep, supporting delivery of HS2 phase one.

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our HS2 team onsite in London. You will be responsible for planning and PM activities in line with maintenance and development of the projects Technical Quality Management System.

Role Responsibility

Responsibilities:

• To support the Technical Process and compliance Lead in the planning of the TQMS initiatives within the project

• Tracking progress of deliverables and identifying necessary actions, mitigation and recovery plans.

Create and maintain resource profiles and projections against plans

• Contribute to and develop the planning methodology for TQMS related activities

• Ensure plans are adhered to by stakeholders and drive adherence by tracking, reporting and escalating as appropriate

The Ideal Candidate

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience of working at a similar level in a multi-disciplined project environment
  • High standard of verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate concepts to variety of audiences
  • Good information management and analytical skills, able to quickly and efficiently seek out the relevant and pertinent points from large volumes of project information
  • Capable of working collaboratively and effectively with project delivery teams, management and the project leadership and credible in building relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
