Training Coordinator

Job Introduction

About the role:

As a training coordinator, you will be required to work both as an individual and a team member. Be able to prepare, monitor, evaluate and document training activities across the project

Role Responsibility

• Liaising with areas/management and to support annual training plans.
• Assess training needs for new and existing employees.
• Selecting the most appropriate training methods and activities.
• Partner with internal stakeholders regarding employee training needs.
• Map out training plans for individual employees.
• Identify internal and external training programmes to address competency gaps.
• Monitor and respond to emails and telephone calls in a helpful and positive manner.
• Track and report on training outcomes.
• Maintain employee training records on the training database.
• Escalate problems and complaints to the senior training coordinator.
• Carry out tasks associated with training set by the senior training coordinator as required.

• Highly organised and proficient in MS Office (essential)
• IT literate (essential)
• Willing and able to communicate with people at all levels (essential)
• Willing to travel between locations (essential)
• Administration experience (essential)
• Experience in a construction industry environment (ideal)

About the Company

The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 London Tunnels Contract. Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and the construction of site compounds.
