Technical Administrator
Job Introduction
Provision of a range of technical administrative and analytical duties and specific responsibilities in support of the Systems Engineering Team
Reporting into the Technical Process and Compliance lead you will be part of a team of system engineers responsible for System Engineering activities on the project ranging from Technical Process and Compliance, Requirements Engineering, Change and Configuration and Systems Safety.
The role will perform administration activities in line with maintenance and development of the projects Technical Quality Management System and also within the wider systems Engineering discipline. This is to include aspects pertaining to but is not limited to: planning and organisation of workshops, creation of, update and assignment of task tickets, EMT power user activities. review coordinator activities, maintenance of department Intranet, coordination of lead designer letters and competency assessments, maintenance of departmental org chart. Organisation of training against process, consistency checks of technical data, generating technical reports, F&R coordination, internal panel coordination, activities associated with publication of technical documents, assistance with onboarding, updating of technical registers and coordinating action closure.

Role Responsibility
- Ownership of Technical Directorate Organization Chart
- Lead activities to gather and organize information for initiatives across multiple teams
- Supporting Systems Engineering staff with data management activities
- Review and quality checking of current project information and data, identifying data gaps and working with relevant delivery teams to ensure data is in accurate and in place
- Planning and organization of workshops
- Acting as Document review coordinator
- Maintenance of departmental Intranet
- Coordination of technical process governance artifacts.
- Consistency checks of technical data
- Generation of technical reports
- Organisation of data into required format. Visio, Power Point, Excel, etc.
- Analysis of data and provision of ad-hoc reports as and when required
- Creating and distributing communications, presentations, and other media
- Ad hoc duties as job requires
- Understand the Client and Joint Venture Partners' Environment and Sustainability Policies, Processes, and statutory requirements as they affect the company's operations and ensure that the requirements, as applicable within their discipline, are implemented on the project.

About the Company
The role will work on the HS2 project. HS2 is the UK’s new high-speed rail network. It will be a catalyst for economic growth across Britain, freeing up space on the existing railways and connecting 8 out of the UK’s 10 biggest cities with fast, reliable and frequent high-speed services.
The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 Main Civils Contracts which include both Lots S1 (Euston Tunnels & Approaches) and S2 (Northolt Tunnels). The combined value of the contracts is around £1.8billion with the works due for completion in 2025. Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and the construction of site compounds.
