TBM Mechanical Engineer

Role Responsibility

Mechanical Supervisor in all TBM activities, redacting daily maintenance reports, carrying out TBM and tunnel plant maintenance work, as well as carrying out electrical and mechanical fault finding work. Additionally, you will be in charge of redacting the Method Statement and Risk Assessment for certain TBM activities, as well as keeping the Tool Box records updated.

The Ideal Candidate

Educated to Degree standard or equivalent qualifications and experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Understanding of TBMs and associated tunneling equipment and how different tunneling equipment parts impact the performance of the TBM.

Knowledge of the assembly, operation, commissioning, and installation of TBMs and associated plant equipment.

Knowledge of and experience in managing TBM and tunnel plant equipment e.g. MSVs, Water Treatment Plants, Ventilation and Cooling Systems.

Good team management skills.

Good communication skills in both verbal and written English is essential.
