System Support Specialist (Induction)
Job Introduction
The Systems Support Specialist, as an essential part of the wider security team, is responsible for the smooth operation of the project wide access control and workforce management system. Reporting to the Induction and Access Lead, the successful candidate will act as system controller for all 22 main site compounds and offices, managing all aspects of system configuration, user account creation, access permissions and all system data reporting as per requirements set by project stakeholders. They will be approachable, a team player and must have excellent communication skills to assist in liaising with our staff, sub-contractors and visitors.

Role Responsibility
- Managing over 2500 role configurations on the workforce management system
- Troubleshooting all technical issues and offering project wide technical support
- Maintaining the enquiries email box, resolving queries, including the configuration of automatic reports for stakeholders
- Manage access permissions and configuration of the ‘Biosite People App’
- Management of visitors cards across the project
- Granting access permissions to site zones - Civils, tunnel & restricted areas
- Create and manage electronic forms as required
- Briefing and guidance to the project team, subcontractors on any developments to the system
- Arranging system access for all SCS users and over 400 supply chain partners
- Reporting any breaches or abuse of the system to the Security Systems Manager
The Ideal Candidate
Essential:
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to undertake a variety of tasks with a high level of accuracy
- Identifying and escalating potential risks, issues and sensitive situations
- Knowledge of IT architecture and system integration
- Experience in working within a fast paced environment
- Good knowledge of data privacy law and GDPR
- Excellent computer skills i.e. Microsoft forms, excel
Desirable:
- Experience on a similar size construction project
- Power BI
- Experience of competency management systems
- People/systems related skills
- Security management or technical qualification

The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 London Tunnels Contract. Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and the construction of site compounds.
