Job Introduction
Responsibility for Requirements and Verification & Validation Management on the HS2 Main Works Civils Contracts Lots S1 and S2 for the SCS Joint Venture. Reporting to the Requirements Management Lead.

Role Responsibility
- Lead the production of Verification Validation Matrices (VVM’s) to support the technical design assurance process.
- Briefing and liaising with the wider project team and subcontractors on the requirements management processes, through the Detailed Design, Construction & Installation, Testing & Operation technical lifecycle stages.
- Assisting other disciplines in their interactions with the DOORS Database(s), and other related requirements management tool supported activities.
- Development and management of the DOORS Database(s) to support the requirements management approach in alignment with HS2 standards and the Contract Works Information requirements.
- Support the identification of process improvement in the requirements management approach.
- Facilitating monitoring and regular reporting on the performance of the requirements management process.
- Facilitating recruitment and training processes.
The Ideal Candidate
Required qualifications, skills, behaviours and attributes:
- Significant experience in the use of DOORS, or a similar tool, to manage project requirements including the configuration of data properties and data import/export.
- Experience in System Engineering including the practice of requirements allocation, and verification & validation processes.
- Capable of working collaboratively and effectively with project delivery teams and building relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills.
Desired qualifications, skills, behaviours and attributes:
- Previous experience of working on large infrastructure projects, multidisciplinary teams, in particular experience in civil engineering or rail would be an advantage.
- An appropriate professional qualification in System Engineering.

The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 London Tunnels Contract. Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and the construction of site compounds.
