Plant Administrator

Role Responsibility
- Keeping record of all plant hire using the SCS Railways plant book and E1 finance system
- Collating live hire reports from SCS Railways supply chain and carrying out reconciliations against the SCS Plant Book to ensure records match.
- Supporting the Plant manager in completion of all on/off hires on E1 finance system
- Building relationships with key internal/external stakeholders
- Resolving any plant invoice queries
- Keeping record of damage investigations and charges received and paid
- Liaising with suppliers that offer Plant Services and obtaining site visit dates for our records
The Ideal Candidate
- Effective communication skills and ability to work closely with internal and external customers
- Competent application of computer software such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good eye for detail and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience of dealing with plant hire within contracting or in supply chain
- Previous knowledge of ordering/booking systems for managing plant hire
- Previous experience of an administrative role
- Experience of document control in a construction environment as desirable
