Information Delivery Administrator

Job Introduction

You will support the need for the delivery of management information plans into the clients’ common data environment, address issues of technical debt within the projects metadata and identify and rectify data inaccuracies.

Reporting into the information delivery lead you will be part of a team of expert engineers responsible for the configuration of the programme’s common data environment and its alignment with the client’s common data environment.  

The role will involve the reviewing, checking, correcting and where required transfer of pre-existing data into the project’s CDE and formal submission and transfer to the client in line with their requirements. The role will require knowledge and understanding of information, quality, and processes with experience of major projects also desirable.

You will enthusiastically promote innovation and actively support the team to continuously improve.

Role Responsibility

  • Creation and formal publishing of Information Delivery Plans into the client’s CDE
  • Review and quality checking of current project information and data, identifying data gaps and working with relevant delivery teams to ensure data is in accurate and in place
  • Supporting the fixing of technical debt in project meta data, working through any identified issues with relevant functions/teams/delivery members.
  • Contribute to the Identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of the Information Management Systems 
  • Ensuring the project adheres to the client’s information requirements in line with the principles of part of ISO 19650

The Ideal Candidate

  • The successful candidate will have previous experience in working within large multi-discipline programmes of work
  • Working within a team with a strong team ethic
  • Ability and flexibility to communicate and work well within a team
  • Previous experience using or administrating systems desirable – ALIM/AssetWise/ eB, ProjectWise and document review tools.
  • Previous experience of information packaging delivery using information management tools
  • Knowledge of information management processes in line with BS1192 / ISO 19650 extremely desirable
  • Knowledge of major civil / railways projects desirable
  • Understanding of project document control processes
  • Significant experience in Microsoft office essential

The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 London Tunnels Contract. Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and the construction of site compounds.
