IT Service Mgmt Analyst

Job Introduction

• Due to current expansion, we are looking for an IT Service Analyst to join our IT Service Management team within the Wider SCS 35+ strong IT Team responsible for managing cloud-based services and on-site facilities for about 2000+ users managing an ecosystem of around 25+ Applications.

• To succeed, you will be Enthusiastic, Willing to learn, inquisitive, work on own initiative and have ability to appropriately challenge the “Status Quo”.

Role Responsibility

Some of the elements of the role will include:

• Contribute to managing relationships effectively with suppliers and business,

• Coordinate and Analyse Suppliers Service Requests, Incidents, Changes and Problems

• Support for the coordination among business, suppliers and IT Operations to implement relevant ITIL processes (such as but not exclusively, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management)

The Ideal Candidate

It is essential to have some ITIL Service Management experience, backed by at least at ITIL4 Foundation level certification.

• Teamwork and being a team player

• Ability to drive resolution in critical situation (DR, cyber incident, etc)

• Manage relationships effectively with suppliers and business

• Desirable previous experience of delivering projects in a more structured manner, improving

• Desirable ITIL service management experience

• Knowledge and experience of SLAs and suppliers’ management, as well as service monitoring methods and tools.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including a proven ability to persuade and influence others using a variety of communication styles.

• Ability to be dynamic, self-motivated and work on own using own initiative is essential

About the Company

The role will work on the HS2 project. HS2 is the UK’s new high speed rail network. It will be a catalyst for economic growth across Britain, freeing up space on the existing railways and connecting 8 out of the UK’s 10 biggest cities with fast, reliable and frequent high speed services

The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 Main Civils Contracts which include both Lots S1 (Euston Tunnels & Approaches) and S2 (Northolt Tunnels). Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and the construction of site compounds.
