Head of Reporting

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

Our reporting function is one of the most important disciplines on the project as it is our opportunity to demonstrate all the excellent work that we have done and are projected to do.

The Head of Reporting is responsible for the strategic oversight of reports published by the SCS project to all our stakeholders. They will coordinate data from across the project and use that data to provide insight to enable decision making. The role will directly support the Integrated Project Leadership Team, and the Partnership and Joint Venture Boards in the management of the project. The role will lead a team of report specialists as well as providing direction and guidance to the Area Project teams. You will report to the Project Control Director.

The SCS project has multiple types of reports that are required to be published to HS2 and the JV Board. These reports collect information from five major packages of work with their own project management team and reporting functions. The reporting function within the Project Control team coordinates this information, ensures consistency, and then acts as the owner of the data that is published to external stakeholders. The key data sets are those related to Project Controls, cost, planning, and risk management. All data that is part of our reports will be coordinated by the Head of Reporting.
