Data Analyst (Technical Assurance)

Job Introduction

Our Skanska Costain STRABAG joint venture team is working in partnership with HS2 to deliver the new London tunnels from Euston to West Ruislip. Our joint venture team is working on sites at Euston, Old Oak Common and West Ruislip, building tunnels 13 miles long and up to 50m deep, supporting delivery of HS2 phase one.

We are looking for a Data Analyst (Technical Assurance) to join our HS2 team onsite in London. You will be responsible for interfacing with the main Digital Data Team, but it will sit directly and report to the Head of Temporary Works.

Role Responsibility

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and audit data quality via the various TW’s systems.
• Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content.
• Gather, understand, and document detailed requirements and interface contracts using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Manipulate, analyse, and interpret complex data sets relating to the employer's business

The Ideal Candidate

Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience in the development of reports and dashboards to a diverse set of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Highly skilled in mainstream BI tools (including but not limited to Power BI).
• Experience cleaning and managing complex datasets.
• Understand and promote data quality.
