Business Management Systems Manager

We currently have a vacancy for a Business Management Systems Manager within our Business Compliance & Audit team here at SCS Railways.

Role Responsibility
- Development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Skanska, Costain, STRABAG Joint Venture’s (SCSJV) management systems in accordance with the JV partner’s management systems, ISO9001 and Client requirements, in close collaboration with the Head of Business Compliance and Audit.
- Coordination of the management system and working with process owners to ensure they maintain and improve their polices, plans, procedures, process maps and templates so they remain current and in compliance with requirements.
- Coordinate the review and approval of the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
- Management of the JV’s Process Mapping tool, including system admin and review/publication of mapped processes.
- Guidance, training, skills development, induction and support to the project team on the definition, implementation and continual improvement of the SCSJV management system.
- Review and understanding the Client’s, Joint Venture Partners' and SCS’s Policies, Processes, Procedures and statutory requirements as they affect the company's operations and ensure that the requirements are reflected in the SCS Management Systems as appropriate.
- Performing internal audits according to monitor compliance to the Management System.
- Monitor the effective close out of audit non-conformities, Observations and Recommendations for Improvement raised by SCSJV, HS2 or 3rd Parties, ensuring they are dealt with in a timely manner and escalating where required.
- Review and analysis of results of internal and external audits to identify trends and areas of improvement relating to the management systems.
- Provide input and commentary for the relevant reporting as necessary.
The Ideal Candidate
- Thorough knowledge of the requirements and practical experience of developing, implementing and improving quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
- Internal auditing experience.
- Experience of process mapping and process analysis
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Knowledge of other management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001) is beneficial.

The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 London Tunnels Contract. Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and the construction of site compounds.
