BIM/CAD Coordinator

Job Introduction

This role is a responsible for management and coordination of stage 5 CAD deliverables information through ProjectWise to assure alignment with the client’s requirements.


Role Responsibility

  • Coordinating stage 5 deliverables in accordance with the SCS BIM Execution Plan. 
  • Quality checks of CAD deliverables across stage 5 submissions.
  • Technical support and guidance for supply chain on model development, drawings, and other CAD deliverables.
  • Coordinating cross-functional CAD reviews and manage change implementation.
  • Providing support and guidance on the production of 2D/3D site layout plans, cross-sections, and details to support the construction team in the detailed planning of the project.
  • Implementing CAD standards to ensure the required quality of drawings is maintained.
  • Providing support and ongoing development of SCS CAD standards, workflows, and procedures.
  • Supporting the BIM Lead as required.
  • Working collaboratively with the BIM Team and wider project teams.


The Ideal Candidate

•        Previous experience as a CAD coordinator for civil engineering work. Experience in other industries and disciplines will be considered.

•        Skills with 2D and 3D drafting / modelling.

•        A strong understanding and working experience of PAS1192 suite and ISO 19650 suite.

•        Certified Bentley software professional.

•        Bentley suite experience (Microstation, AecoSIM & Projectwise).

•        Autodesk experience (Autocad & Revit).

•        Experience across all stages of a project lifecycle. 

•        Experience of large complex projects in the infrastructure sectors (desirable). 

•        A strong work ethic and an enthusiasm to learn and develop.
