Asset Information Lead
Job Introduction
This role is responsible for developing and delivering complete and comprehensive processes and products for the project Asset Data Information Model (AIM), for all SCS JV Work Packages, based on the Project Information Model (PIM) and under the scope of Engineering Design and Construction, Asset Operation and Maintenance, Health and Safety and Carbon Management.

Role Responsibility
- Developing and managing the Asset Information Model, assuring and reporting the AIM quality, integrity and compliance against the Employer Information Requirements, the HS2 Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS), the SCS JV BIM Execution Plan, the SCS JV Content Plan, the SCS JV HS2 Asset Classes Matrix, the SCS JV Asset List and PAS1192.
- Supporting the Asset Information Systems Manager on maintaining the SCS JV Asset Information Model Database.
- Deploying SCS JV AIMS Enable My Team (EMT) and AssetWise to generate Asset Data Associations and Families to feed the HS2 AIMS system.
- Responsible for reviewing and updating as required, and in close collaboration with the BIM Leads, the SCS JV Content Plan, the SCS JV HS2 Asset Classes Matrix and the SCS JV Asset Lists.
- Responsible for the review of the HS2 Asset Data Dictionary Definition Document (AD4) and the corresponding change control process.
- This will involve the supervision of the identification of entity changes and implement, if necessary, any required amendments to the SCS JV AIM
- Responsible to communicate to all SCS JV BIM Leads any proposed changes on the HS2 AD4 and collaborate closely with them to agree if changes should and could be implemented.
- Working closely to the HS2 Asset Information Lead counterpart and communicate any recommendations or comments that SCS JV might have on the HS2 Asset Information Model proposals, deriving from the HS2 AD4 documents.
- Responsible to liaise with the Project Controls, Health and Safety, Planning, Estimating, and Environmental teams to ensure Asset Data integration, suitability and that the SCS JV Asset Information Model is an amalgamation of all available project data.
- Responsible to ensure that the Supply Chain AIM Model fulfills the purpose and the scope as intended and complies with the SCS JV CIR.
- Run Project Asset Data Information Modelling Clinic’s to enable the Contractor and the Supply Chain to deliver their Asset Information Models more effectively and in compliance with the project standards.
- Supporting the Head of BIM on the development and updating of the BIM Execution Plan and the Contractor Information Requirements in relation to the SCS JV Asset Information Model across all Work Packages.
- Understand the Client and Joint Venture Partners' Environment and Sustainability Policies, Processes and statutory requirements as they affect the company's operations and ensure that the requirements, as applicable within their discipline, are implemented on the project.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as an Asset Information Lead or Coordinator, working across all stages of a Civil Engineering project lifecycle.
- Solid understanding of the BIM Development and Implementation in conjunction to the Engineering Design, Construction, Operation and Maintenance phases.
- Experience on working within and managing Asset Data Management Environments and Systems from a Data Management role.
- Experience of working within project environments.
Desirable:
- Solid understanding of PAS 1192 suite of documents.
- Knowledge of SQL Language coding and SQL Database management.
- Knowledge of Extract-Transform-Load Process and particularly FME.
- High-Level Awareness of APIs and Systems integration.
- Sustained Continuing Professional Development.
- A highly ambitious individual with a drive to succeed.
- Degree or equivalent in civil engineering or an appropriate professional qualification.

The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 London Tunnels Contract. Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and the construction of site compounds.
