Job Introduction
Lead Appointed Person
You are responsible to your Manager stated above for the execution of your individual job responsibilities. You shall:
- Support your Manager and the staff under your control
- Manage and control your section of the work according to the agreed programmes and requests from the site teams
- Lift Plans to be prepared and issued for approval
- All Appointments /Lift Plans /Permits are to be shared on SCS SharePoint
- Give updates of your planned weekly schedule
- All new SCS procedures to be implemented and updated when issued
To cover your absence from site during holiday periods, you are to handover your duties to a delegate agreed with your Manager.

The Ideal Candidate
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
- CPCS A61 Appointed Person
Desirable:
- CPCS A61 Crane Supervisor
EXPERIENCE
Essential:
- CPCS Appointed Person.
- Experience in planning and implementation of lifting operations.
- Microsoft Office Literate.
- Knowledge of LOLER1998 & BS7121
- Slinger/Signaller/Crane Supervisor experience.
Desirable:
- Temporary Works experience (TWS/TWC)
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
Essential
Relevant :
- CPCS card, training in health and safety and environmental management
Desirable:
- Basic computer competence (e-mail ms word, excel & SCS IT
